I have not been into HI-end audio for a long time, so I also took the recommendation from Stereophile to purchase these cables. (PS I also live in San Clemente where they make this stuff, and when I called them they told me to contact my dealer!) An entry level cable should not be so temperamental, and shame on reviewers that do not point these things out to customers who trust their opinions. I am giving these cables the lowest rating so others may not make the same mistake I did. AudioQuest should reterminate these things for everyone if they had any integrity. If you change gear, don't buy these things they will break at sometime. I really wished I had spent the few extra dollars on the Ruby's just for the different RCA types! Read the countless other reviews to see the problem I am having with them. YOU WILL HAVE TO FIX THESE THINGS IF YOU USE THEM. These cable are the most poorly constructed cables I have had the displeasure to buy.
